Freedom of Information Act Request
Public records of the Town are available in accordance with the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act, S.C. Code Ann. § 30-4-10 et seq.
Requests should describe the records sought with enough detail for staff to locate them, including a date range where possible, and should be submitted in writing to the Municipal Clerk at Town Hall.
The Town will respond within ten business days as to whether the records will be produced. Records more than twenty-four months old carry a longer response period as provided by statute.
Fees for search time and copying are charged at the Town's published rate. A deposit may be required for requests expected to exceed $50.
