The Town invites residents and guests to a free outdoor screening of Tony (2026), the feature documentary on the life and travels of chef and writer Anthony Bourdain. The film will be shown on a large inflatable screen set up on the sand just past the Station 16 beach path.
Please note: Tony is rated R in its theatrical release. For this community screening, the film has been adapted to comply with a family-friendly audience, and the version presented is suitable for all ages.
What to Bring
- A blanket or low-back beach chair for seating
- A light jacket or sweatshirt for cool evenings on the beach run cool
- Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages in non-glass containers
- A flashlight for the walk back over the path after the film
Parking and Access
Beach seating opens at 6:30 PM, and guests planning to arrive by 6:45 PM will have plenty of time to settle in before the film begins at 7:15 PM. On-street parking is available along Middle Street and the numbered stations. Please observe all posted parking signage and keep the beach path clear for pedestrians.
Weather
In the event of sustained rain or lightning, the screening will be postponed to the following Friday. A notice will be posted to the Town website and sent through Everbridge by 3:00 PM on the day of the event.
